ADWISE Consulting is pleased to announce the launch of a new assignment under the “Sustainable Energy for Climate Resilient Municipal Development in Armenia” (SE4Resilience) project: Technical and Transaction Advisory Services for the Development of Bankable Community-Owned Solar PV Projects in Armenia.
As part of the assignment ADWISE Consulting will work with 6 municipalities to develop economically viable and investment-attractive projects for the construction and operation of community-owned solar photovoltaic power plants with a capacity of up to 1 MW. The implementation of these projects will enable municipalities to generate additional revenue through the sale of electricity produced, contribute to local economic development, and promote climate-resilient development.
Through this assignment, municipalities will receive community-specific feasibility study reports, enabling informed investment decisions for solar energy development. For municipalities ready to move toward implementation, the project will deliver a full package of technical and regulatory documentation required for licensing and EPC contractor tendering.
By supporting the development of community-owned renewable energy infrastructure, this project will contribute to local economic development, improved municipal resilience, and Armenia’s broader transition toward sustainable and climate-resilient energy systems.
ADWISE Consulting is proud to contribute its expertise to advancing innovative and sustainable energy solutions for Armenian communities.
This initiative is being implemented within the framework of the “Sustainable Energy for Climate Resilient Municipal Development in Armenia” (SE4Resilience) project, co-financed by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
