Another important project undertaken by our team in 2020 was the Development of a Concept Paper on most feasible and sustainable housing finance solutions for socially vulnerable population (including refugees and displaced people) in the framework of “Increased Resilience of Syrian Armenians and host population” (IRIS) programme.
During the project we performed an assessment of socio-economic conditions of the target group (demand side) and financial market readiness (supply side), analyzed the legal, regulatory and institutional framework as well as best international practices in the field.
As a result, we produced a set of housing finance solutions, feasible models and tools targeted at improving the housing conditions of the target population.
We hope that the proposed models and solutions will be widely applied for achieving more sustainable housing conditions for the target group.
