Our Partner Ara Khzmalyan delivered an induction training to incoming Peace Corps volunteers, covering fundamentals of the legal environment for non-for-profits and small and medium enterprises in Armenia. The training provided the participants with understanding of basic corporate structures, taxation schemes, tort law, intellectual property rights and other issues commonly facing start-up businesses and new non-for-profits. The volunteers will be able to use the gained knowledge in helping their beneficiaries in communities across Armenia.
