We are pleased to announce that the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Board has approved Armenia’s new project, “Fuelling Green Recovery in Armenia – Advancing Forest Infrastructure and Creating Sustainable Jobs for Rural Communities”, at its 43rd meeting (B.43) held on October 30, 2025.
ADWISE Consulting, in cooperation with E.Co Ltd, supported the Environmental Project Implementation Unit (EPIU) under the Ministry of Environment of Armenia in developing this funding proposal on behalf of the Green Climate Fund.
With a total value of USD 10 million, of which 94.9% will be provided through a GCF grant, the project will be implemented by EPIU as the national executing entity. It represents an important milestone in Armenia’s efforts to strengthen forest ecosystem resilience, enhance rural livelihoods, and accelerate the country’s green recovery.
